Disco Promotions was created back in 2002 by Simon Ore. Simon created Disco Promotions to offer a mobile disco service that was different from other service providers. Over the years Simon has provided services to various clients across the West Midlands . 

Simon comes from a family history of providing entertainment services going back to the 70s; learning from the footsteps of his family history Simon studied music at a high level during his school days.

Since 1997 Simon has been hired by various artists, bands and production companies to play the guitar on numerous studio & live music projects. 

Simon got into the DJ industry from an early age, courtesy of his uncle. Simon learned from different DJs and their methods & styles. Whist entertaining clients from 1996, Simon has also been part of radio project for the West Midlands.

Nowadays, the majority of Simon time is now spent using his skills, experience and knowledge as college teacher developing young adults who are looking to pursue a career in this big wide world.

In March 2007 Jay Price (JP) came on board to form a long awaited partnership. JP & Simon met whist part of the same radio project for West Midlands . Additional to this they have worked alongside each other on a number of live event projects from 2000 to 2002 throughout the UK .

JP has been a freelancer sound engineer since 1997. He has worked extensively throughout the UK on a number of major live event projects. 

It all started for JP back when he was 8 when he first started to learn to play the keyboard. At the age of 16 JP achieved his grade 5 standard, along with Drums & Percussion.

JP also got interested in music technology where after leaving high school JP went on to study and achieve qualifications in Sound Design, Sound Recording & Reproduction and Engineering. 

JP's DJ experience began in 1996 when he joined Hospital Radio. He originally joined Hospital Radio for technical experience, but found that he really enjoyed production & presenting. This continued for the next 2 years before moving onto a radio project for the West Midlands .

From 2002 JP concentrated again focused on music technology as it was expanding very rapidly; especially with the introduction of multimedia on to mobile phones. This has finally led JP to use his skills, experiences and abilities to be utilized within the mobile telecommunications industry. 

JP has not forgotten where he started his career and still returns to the road for one off live music projects throughout the year. 

The future of Disco Promotions is going to be impressive. 

As individuals Simon and JP have provided solutions for various areas of the entertainment industry. As a team they will now be able to provide solutions to their clients which incorporate all their skills, experience and knowledge along with their own personal passion to “Making Every Event Count”.
